Barrett Bergmann Home was founded out of passion and necessity. Southwest Florida-based, award-winning designer Dwayne Bergmann and his partner, Texarkana-based Designer, florist, and cattle rancher, Kyle Barrett have channeled their distinct creative styles to form a unified vision. Each having navigated the challenges and pitfalls of creating custom products for their high-end projects, together they set out to create a collection of thoughtfully designed pieces.
Barrett Bergmann Home is a trade-only brand offering custom capabilities, exceptional craftsmanship, and unexpected details. Their products are designed to meet the standards of their discerning peers, alleviating the pain points many designers face when sourcing quality, innovative, and beautiful pieces. The brand’s signature aesthetic is informed by their national design projects, regional influences, Dwayne’s background as a professional equestrian and Kyle’s rancher lifestyle. The distinctive products blend their mutual appreciation for global, timeless, and modern styles, the couple designing each product as an extension of their personal and shared experiences.
Founded in 2024, the inaugural collection of bath vanities, real touch floral arrangements, and home fragrances bring their shared passion to life. Ignited by Dwayne’s long-time determination to design highly stylized vanities for his affluent clientele, BBH offers customizable designer quality pieces with the ability for trade customers to “make their mark” with signature name plates. The faux floral arrangements, developed by Kyle, a floral design expert, using real-touch silk flowers and plant life, feature a proprietary variety of grass created specially for Barrett Bergmann Home. Using Japanese Ikebana techniques, these life-like low maintenance creations are the answer to the designers’ pursuit of a high quality option. The collection of home fragrances truly encapsulates their mission of blending two styles into one vision, balanced in perfect harmony. From candles to room diffusers, each scent evokes the essence of their unique influences. With more product categories to come, this is truly just the beginning.
Meet Dwayne
Acclaimed interior designer, Dwayne Bergmann founded his eponymous firm, Dwayne Bergmann Interiors in 2013 with the mission of reimagining and redefining environments to reflect each client’s unique needs. Starting young as a decorated competitive equestrian from humble beginnings, and going on to achieve a master’s degree in Business, Bergmann rose in the ranks to become a senior Human Resources executive at Home Depot and HD Supply. Dwayne’s consistently singular focus on perfecting his craft is a mentality he continues to apply to his design practice.
Dwayne Bergmann is nationally renowned for his elegant, highly bespoke interiors, having been prolifically published in top design magazines. He is sought for his ability to design with abandon and create spaces that truly reflect their inhabitants. Guided by the mission of reimagining and redefining environments to reflect each client’s unique needs, Dwayne seamlessly blends luxurious style with functionality believing “you can have it all”. His eye for detail and flair for customization have led him to develop several collaborative product lines, including an award-winning capsule collection with marble fabricator, Kreoo.
By taking risks, leaning into his passion, and finding a balance Dwayne has built a thriving business from scratch, that allows him to do what he loves; create luxurious spaces highly tailored to the lives of the individuals that reside in them. Having acquired fellow Fort-Myers based design firm, Freestyle Interiors in 2023 and expanding his business to Naples, FL with a second office/showroom, Dwayne has grown his business to a $20M+ operation in 10 years. His diverse portfolio includes high-end residential and commercial design projects, licensing collections, and real estate ventures. He resides in Fort Myers, Florida with his twin sons. He is an avid tennis player and gardener with a passion for philanthropy and giving back to his community.
Meet Kyle
Kyle B. Barrett, President and Co-founder of Barrett Bergmann Home, is an accomplished designer renowned for his work on luxury residences in the Southwest United States. With more than 25 years of experience in the interior design and floral industries, Barrett possesses an impeccable eye for quality and style, consistently elevating each project to deliver truly bespoke home interiors. His versatility in design, seamlessly transitioning from mountain lodges and ranch-style homes to contemporary luxury living spaces, adds a distinctive flair to each project.
Barrett's expertise extends beyond interior design to floral artistry. He owns Special Events of Texas and is the founder of Sticks & Stones on the Blvd, a premier floral design studio specializing in high-end arrangements for homes and events. His esteemed clientele include the Dallas Cowboys organization and notable Dallas families. His unique ability to curate exquisite arrangements has been instrumental in developing Barrett Bergmann Home's floral offerings. Under his guidance, the company has established a reputation for creating high-quality floral arrangements and providing custom whole-home floral services that complement their interior design projects, further distinguishing Barrett Bergmann Home in the luxury home market.
Kyle Barrett is a lifelong Texan with a deep connection to and appreciation for the Lone Star State where he has also been a Rancher for over 23 years. Kyle owns and operates The Hideaway Ranch on the Texas-Oklahoma border, where he raises beef cattle and Quarter Horses. For the past two years he has split his time between Texas and Florida, profoundly influenced by their distinct landscapes, drawing from nature's beauty to craft extraordinary designs that harmonize with their surroundings. Kyle’s passion for blending natural elements with creative vision defines his work and life.
